When: Saturdays, October 2, 16, 23 & November 6, 13, 20, 2021; 9:00am - 11:30am
Who: This 6-week series is designed for students who are interested in or practicing the Intermediate Series of Ashtanga Yoga. Classes are designed so you can immerse yourself deeper in the Ashtanga Yoga system, which includes exploring the nervous system, back bending, strengthening, and learning more about the advanced sequences. Experience with Primary Series or Advanced Vinyasa Yoga are recommended.
Please Note: You do not have to be proficient in Primary Series to benefit from this course, you just need some experience with it.
What: In Sanskrit the Second Series is called Nadi Shodhana, which means Little Rivers. This refers to the system of Nadis in the Energetic Body. Michelle will explain more about the essence of the Ashtanga Yoga system and how it is designed to penetrate deeper into the body, mind, Spirit, and the functions of the different sequences. She will lead an in depth journey through the entire and intricate Second Series offering modifications and exercises to work on the challenging portions. As always health and safety are the fundamental morals of her classroom. Each week we will incrementally increase the amount of the sequence we practice, and by the end of our time together, we will complete the entire series in a way that is accessible to everyone.
In addition Michelle is offering two optional Mentoring Sessions as an add on feature! More details below.
Students have 3 options to participate.
- In person - for local students, location below.
- Zoom - in your own home, from anywhere in the world.
- Class Recordings - self paced with class recordings and available consultations.
Note, class recordings are available for all registered students! Take the workshop at your own pace, get caught up on missed classes, and use the classroom material as a reference in the future.
These sessions are designed to facilitate the students' growth. We will arrange two Zoom calls with an in-person option to gather for Q&A about the material. My goal is to help my students process their experience, and clarify anything we went over in the classroom. The sessions will be interwoven throughout the six weeks and scheduled based on group consensus of participating students. Each session will be an hour and 15 minutes.

Cancellations made up to 10 days prior to the start of the Workshop will receive a refund minus any credit card fees already accrued. No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 10 days of the start of the Workshop. Workshop fee can be transferred to another offering.
