Introduction to Second Series; the Backbending Sequence
A gentle exploration of the first half of the Second Series of Ashtanga Yoga, which is a series of backbends. Michelle will offer alternatives and "research" to make the postures more accessible. You do not have to be a Second Series practitioner to participate. Experience with Primary Series or Vinyasa Yoga is recommended.
Michelle's intention as a teacher is to convey the scientific methodology of Ashtanga Yoga while adapting to individual needs to help the student find their sense of health and wholeness.
